**ANNOUNCEMENT**

Lifetime Television will be debuting a new series in April 2012, "The Client List," which portrays a woman who takes a job as a massage therapist at a spa which is a front for a prostitution ring. I, as well as thousands of massage practitioners, are appalled at the portrayal of massage therapy as an illicit sexual practice. THIS IS **NOT** WHO WE ARE. This is an insulting & denigrating depiction of what our vocation is about, and I just want everyone to keep in mind that what is on TV is not an accurate reflection of the practice of therapeutic massage.
